The toughest thing to recycle has got to be 3D goggles.
Sure you know you will never use them, but in the case that the movie you just saw was fantastic you really feel the need to take them home and be prepared for the next visual spectacle that will be formatted in the 3rd dimension at your local cinema. Mine are sitting here as a result of the new Pixar movie Up, and up is where my two thumbs go.....I had to. The movie combines a bubblegum childhood fantasy with a bittersweet dramatic comedy and does so in a way where you need to question nothing and end up getting completely lost in the film . In the meantime you'll also completely forget about your glasses. And ya there is a big box as you exit stage left asking you kindly to help Disney retain their now stylish glasses, but don't give in. I won rock, paper, scissors (I'm very good) to see this film and it was more than worth every nervous toss. It was also worth the whinning of my accomplice who wanted badly to see Zach Galifiniakis drug the three members of his wolfpack on a hotel rooftop.
If you have the chance take a ride in Mr. Fredrickson's house with your glasses on. And keep em, Fuck Recycling.
